The Living Water Project
We believe that clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people around the world still lack access to safe water. In Sub-Saharan Africa, water scarcity remains one of the region’s most pressing challenges. Women and children often walk miles each day to collect water for their families, time that could otherwise be spent in school or pursuing economic opportunities. The water they collect is often unsafe, contributing to waterborne illnesses that affect thousands of lives each year.
Through The Living Water Project, we work alongside local leaders to build wells and sustainable water systems in remote and underserved communities. Since launching this work, multiple wells now provide reliable access to clean water for thousands of people.
The Dream Academy
The Dream Academy
Every child deserves access to education and the opportunity to pursue the future of their dreams. It has been said that if you change the life of a girl, you change the life of a nation. Nowhere is this more evident than in Sub-Saharan Africa, where education has the power to expand opportunity and strengthen communities. Yet, 19.7% of primary-aged children in the region do not attend school, and girls are often the most vulnerable to being left behind due to child marriage and gender discrimination.
The Dream Academy is a unique leadership program that empowers girls to pursue their wildest dreams. Through mentorship, scholarships, leadership development, and life skills training, The Dream Academy equips girls to lead both locally and globally. A dedicated academy in Ghana will serve as the home base for this work.
Freedom from Human Trafficking
Freedom from Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing forms of exploitation in the world, subjecting millions of people to forced labor, sexual exploitation, and other forms of coercion. In Africa, women and girls are disproportionately affected, often targeted because of poverty, lack of educational opportunity, or displacement due to conflict or instability. According to the International Labour Organization, women and girls account for the majority of people exploited in situations of forced labor and sexual exploitation around the globe.
The FIRM Foundation partners with trusted local organizations to help identify, rescue, and restore women and girls who have been trafficked. Through safe housing, education, healthcare, counseling, and long-term support, survivors are given the opportunity to heal, regain their dignity, and pursue a brighter future.
