The Living Water Project

We believe that clean water should be a right afforded to all, not a privilege attainable by some. Yet, for many in developing countries, clean water is significantly out of reach. In northern Ghana and throughout sub-Saharan Africa, women often have to walk several miles a day to get access to the clean water their families need to survive.
Through TLWP, we have provided clean water to over 500 people in the village of Vonania in northern Ghana. With your support, we are planning to drill two more wells in 2022—one in Tamale and the other in Navrongo and employ young, budding engineers to maintain them.

The Dream Academy

It has been said that if you change the life of a girl, you change the life of a nation. TDA is an innovative leadership program that helps school-aged girls discover and realize their wildest dreams. TDA will provide thoughtful, robust mentorship to teenage girls in the US and Ghana. In the US, college scholarships and travel abroad opportunities will be provided to select girls annually. The first annual college scholarship was awarded in May 2022.
In Ghana, TDA will help eliminate some of the barriers that prevent girls from going to school and pursuing higher education opportunities by providing financial and material support to a cohort of girls from middle school through college.

The Healing Place

A nation is only as healthy as the people within it. THP seeks to serve the people of northern Ghana by being a resource for quality, transformative physical and spiritual healthcare.
This will be done by establishing state of the art pediatric medical centers and spiritual retreat centers. We will work alongside local clinicians and clergy to deliver dynamic, culturally sensitive care to those who need it most.

The Microfinance Initiative

Female small business owners are the heart and soul of the Ghanaian economy. Unfortunately, women in rural communities are stifled in their businesses because of the inability to procure the resources they need. These hard-working women are diligent, committed, and strenuous in their work ethic. They are not looking for a hand out, but they do desperately need leverage to revitalize their businesses.
Through microfinancing, we will issue micro loans of $20 or less to rural, female business owners to help booster the growth and success of their businesses.

Water is life. The women [used to travel] 1km to fetch water. Now, it is strategically located near the houses. The children will no longer to go school late, because the water is closer to them.
